Mark Webber gets his fourth victory of the season and is now leading the World Drivers' Championship.

Sebastian Vettel looked set for victory until he was hit with a drive-through penalty for leaving a gap larger than ten car lenghts to Mark Webber during a safety car period. Back on third position, the German was unable to pass Fernando Alonso, who finishes second with his Ferrari.

Felipe Massa (Ferrari) is fourth and Vitaly Petrov gets a great fifth place with his Renault.

Big fight between Rubens Barrichello (Williams) and Michael Schumacher (Mercedes) for the tenth place. Barrichello almost hits the pit wall as Schumacher pushed him to the right and within inches of the concrete pit wall, Brazilian driver screamed in his radio "Horrible! That should be a black flag!" The incident is under investigation.

At the back of the field, all the new teams secured two-car finishes. Heikki Kovalainen is the first of them with his Lotus at 14th position.
