Nico Rosberg will drive Juan Manuel Fangio's 1954 Mercedes next week, at the Nurburgring's old Nordschleife layout, in Germany, announced Formula One's official website.
"Coming to the Nurburgring for the German Grand Prix always feels very special to me,” said Rosberg.
“There is so much history around this amazing track, especially for Mercedes-Benz with great drivers from the past having had such successful times on the Nurburgring and the legendary Nordschleife.”
Fangio won a three and a half hour race in the 1954 German Grand Prix on board of the very W196 Rosberg will drive this week.
