According to the new Formula 1 regulations, each driver is allowed 8 engines per season. With five Grands Prix remaining, it's a good time to see where the drivers stand in terms of motors.

F1Live.com has posted the list of engines already used by each driver before the Grand Prix of Belgium. Using a ninth engine is permitted, by the FIA, but the driver would be penalized ten places on the starting grid.

Number of engines already used before the Grand Prix of Belgium :

The mileage done by each engine is not known.

As far as the title contenders are concerned, Sebastian Vettel used his seventh engine in Belgium, and Rubens Barrichello seems to be in the best position of all with just 5 engines used up to this day. His teammate Jenson Button has used six.
