The Renault-powered Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Sébastien Buemi set the fastest laps of the 3rd and final day of Formula 1 testing at Jerez, Spain.

The Red Bull Racing team concentrated on evaluating various mechanical set-up changes and understanding the behaviour of the new slicks supplied by Bridgestone.

At BMW-Sauber, Christian Klien drove the KERS' equipped F1.08B while Robert Kubica in the sister car, but without KERS, tried numerous set-up solutions aiming to improve on the results from using the new slick tyres.

In Portimao, Portugal the final outing of the year allowed the McLaren test team and Pedro de la Rosa to significantly improve their understanding of an interim 2009 aerodynamic package and KERS device.

Ferrari's Luca Badoer worked on finding the best set-up for the car on the 2009 slick tyres. He also evaluated new solutions for next season and on endurance testing of the engine.
