Frenchman Sébastien Bourdais has moved one step closer to the second car of the Toro Rosso Formula 1 team.
The driver managed by Nicolas Todt will drive for the Italian team next week at Jerez, Spain.
After months of discussions, the team apparently decided to retain his services, as it needs to have a veteran alongside rookie Sébastien Buemi who will begin his F1 career this season in Melbourne.
