Serbian team Stefan GP revealed on Tuesday that they have shipped a 40-foot container of equipment to Bahrain.

In the hope of ultimately receiving an official entry to race in 2010, the Serbian team led by Zoran Stefanovic (pictured) said the move proves "how serious (we) are when they say that we are pushing to ... race" this season.

Bahrain will host the opening race of the 2010 season in mid March.

Stefan GP said last week that it has reached an agreement with former Cologne based F1 entrant Toyota to "receive technical supports" in 2010.

A deal to take over Toyota's 2010 car, complete with engine and gearbox, had already been reached. It is rumoured that Stefan GP is first in line should any of F1's confirmed 13 teams fail to make it to the grid.

In a press release issued on February 2, Stefan GP announced they were planning to go to Portimao for the first tests of the Stefan S-01 car powered by the Stefan RG-01 engine (V8 born Toyota).

The tests will be held February 25 to 28.

Stefan GP Team will be testing with two drivers over three days.

The identity of drivers will be announced in due course, but one driver has already two years in F1 (it would apparently be Kazuki Nakajima).
