The AT&T Williams Formula 1 team has denied reports that Angolan driver Ricardo Teixeira is slated to test with the British formula one team next year.
A sports newspaper of the African republic Angola said Teixeira, 26, has been invited based on his performances for the partially state-owned oil company Sonangol-backed F3 team Ultimate.
"We have no plans to test Teixeira and have not extended the invitation and genuinely have no idea where this story has come from," a spokesman for Grove based Williams told ManipeF1.
