This video is the first official preview of India's upcoming Formula 1 race track at Greater Noida, located about 50km from New Delhi.
The circuit will be 5.5 kilometres (3.1 miles) long and has been designed by F1 track designer Hermann Tilke.
The animation seen in the video has been conceptualized and executed by Paintbox, New Delhi for Jaypee Sports International.
The Grand Prix of India will be the first Formula 1 race held in the country.
It is scheduled (subject to homologation of the circuit) to take place on October 30, 2011 as the 18th race of the 2011 F1 season.
