Contrary to some rumours that circulated in the medias Durant the last few days, the AT&T Williams Formula 1 team has confirmed that the new FW33 will run during the first winter test in Valencia.

The team officially confirm on Tuesday morning that the new Cosworth-powered FW33 will take to the track on day one of the Valencia test on Tuesday February 1st.

F1 veteran Rubens Barrichello will undertake the first day and a half of testing duties, while rookie Pastor Maldonado will take over on Wednesday afternoon for the remainder of the test.

The team indicated in the press release “the car will run with an interim livery so no roll out for photography purposes will take place. The team will announce an official launch of the FW33, complete with its new livery, at a later date.”
