Williams have resolved its KERS problem and will use the system in its cars in Melbourne during the first Grand Prix of the season.
Technical director Sam Michael has described the emergency cool-down procedure that forced the team to run without the KERS since Wednesday, in Barcelona.
"It was an electrical problem - not with the battery or the MGU [motor generator unit], but the equipment that goes between the two," he said.
The problem has since been identified and resolved, the team confirmed today. Williams will equip its cars with the system in Australia.
"KERS seems to be zero problems one day and another day a hundred problems, and then you don't know where it is," said Rubens Barrichello. "From what you read, I think people do have that sort of problem."
