15-year-old Marc-Antoine Cardin made his intentions to step up the racing ladder clear. His Formula 1600 debuts are set for 2012.
Coming off a tough 2011, hindered by injuries, Marc-Antoine and his family decided it was better for the youngster to get a breath of fresh air, by changing discipline.
In 2012, the karting veteran will make his car debuts at the wheel of a '97 Van Diemen. Driving in the Québec-based Formula Tour 1600, he will go up against the country's brightest young talents.
Cardin's past achievements include a Coupe de Montréal Cadet title (2006), and a Coupe VEGA Mini-Max crown (2009). He was also honoured by the Ferrari Scholarship program, in 2010.
