Conclusion
As you can see, there are major differences between the amounts of greenhouse gas emissions from one vehicle to the next. Between the one that emits the less, the Honda Insight, with 2,2 tons for every 25,000 kilometres (which is the car I have been driving for more than three years now...) and the Mercedes G500, which emits 10,3 tons of greenhouse gases for every 25,000 kilometres, there is a world of difference.
Of course, we all know that most people need a larger car than I do, but it's clear that you can do your part by changing for a more fuel-efficient vehicle. Actually, if your needs are the same and you change for vehicle that emits more than the one that you own right now, I will only be able to qualify you as ecologically irresponsible.
Just imagine the owner of a Hummer H2 that would get rid of it to buy a Toyota Prius...
He would take care of the one-ton challenge for his whole street!
