The Enzo is the ultimate Ferrari right? Wrong. The FXX is. It may be a weird name for the most hardcore Ferrari ever but its credentials are up to the task. The FXX is the most technologically advanced GT car to ever come out of Ferrari's loins. So far 29 have been built and if you want one, you will need about 2 million to cover all the expenses.
If it is destined to be the fastest, it must have an impressively powerful engine. How about a 6.3L V12 that crushes out over 800 hp. Combine the power with a low 1,155 kg weight and you have yourself a power-to-weight ratio of 1.44 kg per hp. Special 19" Bridgestone slicks have been developed for the car. Brembo did the same for the composite ceramic braking system. The seat and pedals are specifically designed and moulded to the driver.
Purchasers of the FXX, which is not street-legal, will basically be part of Ferrari's Test Drivers and participate in a series of 14 track events organized by Ferrari.
