While the Los Angeles Auto Show has been synonymous with green vehicles and technologies for the past couple of years, Ford prepares for the 2011 edition with a single word in mind: Performance. Visitors will get to see not only the Fiesta ST, but the Focus ST and ST-R as well.
Fiesta ST Concept
Equipped with 1.6L 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine that generates 180 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque through a 6-speed manual gearbox, this high-performance variant of the Fiesta is derived from the World Rally Championship (WRC) model. It also features a sport suspension, 17'' wheels and a full body kit.
Focus ST-R
Specifically designed for racing, the Ford Focus ST-R shares many physical and mechanical similarities with the 2012 Focus ST. However, it receives an FIA-approved roll cage, a track-tuned suspension and upgraded brakes.
Look for the Ford Focus ST-R to make an appearance on various racetracks in the near future.
