Ford's been teasing Mustang fans and auto enthusiasts alike with occasional teaser shots of the upcoming 2010 model. The photos don't reveal much- though we do know that the pony emblem itself has been revised to present a more dynamic and edgy appearance, and that changes won't take the car incredibly far from its current look.

The latest photograph was released Thursday, and shows part of the car's front-end. Not much to see- other than a recessed grille and headlight combination similar to the present car, flanked by wider fenders with tidier lines.

Ford promises that the new car will be sportier and more aggressive with revised a revised grille and fascia treatment, and that the GT model will maintain a dark-faced front-end with dual fog-lamps.

"We want people to unequivocally know this is a Mustang when they see it," said Douglas Gaffka, chief designer of the 2010 Ford Mustang. "The stronger, more-muscular front end of the 2010 Mustang does just that."

Other shots indicate a large new wheel style, and a similar interior configuration with a more modern look.

Our prediction? The 2010 Mustang will maintain its retro styling theme while adding more modern- day touches. Only time will tell- and Ford will release more details closer to the vehicle's on-sale date. Few other details are available at this time.
