Danish driver Kevin Magnussen drove a superb race on the Aragon circuit, to win the first of two Formula Renault 3.5 races presented this weekend in Spain.

It was Magnussen's first win of the season.

The son of former F1 driver Jan Magnussen dominated the race, leaving the others scrambling for second place, which went to Will Stevens, thanks to late pass on Arthur Pic.

Championship leader Stoffel Vandoorne could only managed eighth, behind Sergey Sirotkin, Norman Nato, Nigel Melker and Christopher Zanella.
