What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was pandemonium, madness, people running from pillar to post trying to grab a good spot for pictures during the conference or press kits. Today, everyone is lollygoging about, chatting it up, sitting in new cars and taking some last minutes pictures or video.

It's no wonder really as yesterday, press conferences were going on simultaneously while on this day, well, there was nothing really going on.

I managed to run around and complete my picture collecting for my upcoming galleries, speak to a few peeps and almost kill myself as I was constantly being denied access to any network while trying to tweet (on top of that, I also got messages that the Twitter servers were overloaded (please try later).

My favourite find of the day has to be the Mini Rocketman (love the name!) Concept. Close to an original Mini Cooper in size, cool as all Hell and with a trick roof, doors and trunk, this little car was actually corded off to keep the masses away from it. In the end, after standing in line for 15 minutes, I managed to get lots of good shots. Gallery to come.

All in all, the mood here in Geneva was swathed in positivity, bright as ever. So far this Auto Show season, I've covered Paris, Los Angeles, Detroit, Montreal, Toronto and now Geneva. Paris was very good but Los Angeles was somewhat dimmer. Though, as the events came and went, I could clearly notice a warming trend. As it stands now, it looks as though I'll be packing my bags again for the New York Auto Show later in March. After this season, I plan on retiring from the Auto Show circuit. Either that or Mike has to buy me a new pair of shoes...or two.

The “day 2” gallery should be going up later on today so stick around!
