The latest edition of the Geneva auto show closed its doors this past Sunday. 730,736 people travelled through the gates of the Geneva Palexpo, the second best result in the show's history. The declared objective for the show organisers was to welcome 700,000 visitors; the result surpassed expectations.
During the course of the first 6 days of the show, 15,000 people were surveyed. Amazingly, the surveyors found that over 100 countries were represented and that 39% of the total number actually came from overseas.
Geneva's International nature was solidified with the presence of over 5,000 members of various media covering the show during the two dedicated press days, March 6th and 7th.
The 78th edition of the show will take place at the Palexpo between March 6th and 16th 2008.
