Organisers of the GP2 and GP3 series have revealed their 2014 calendars Friday.

The GP2 series will consist of eleven rounds in total, all support events of the official Formula 1 World Championship. Eight rounds will be held in Europe with three overseas events to complete the calendar, including Sochi in Russia.

The GP3 calendar will be made up of nine rounds in total, the most in the Series’ history. All rounds have been confirmed to run alongside the Formula 1 World Championship.

The calendar features two exciting new venues for GP3: Austria and Russia, whilst the Yas Marina Circuit in the United Arab Emirates will host the season finale for the second consecutive year.
