Romain Grosjean has set the fastest time of the first day of collective test for the GP2 Asia drivers on the Abu Dhabi circuit.
The Renault F1 test and reserve driver, who will race this year under the colors of the DAMS team in GP2, clinched the fastest time in the afternoon. Few drivers took the track in the morning because of strong wind and a track dirtied by sand.
Jules Bianchi, took second best performance of the day with his ART car, while Stefano Coletti, fastest in the morning, ended the day with the third fastest time ahead of the both Addax drivers, Giedo Van der Garde and Alexandre Pic. Testing will continue on Thursday.
