Canadian driver Robert Wickens will test a GP3 with Status on Tuesday and Friday on the Paul Ricard circuit.
Wickens lost Red Bull’s back at the end of the 2009 season, although he finished runner-up in the new Formula 2 championship. No deal has been secured yet for the 20 year old canadian driver, but the GP3 remains his main objective.
« I'm really pumped up to have got the opportunity to be part of the GP3 Series as it gets underway, he told Autosport magazine. "It's great to be reunited with the Status GP guys, and GP3 is where I want to be. "For this test I just have to concentrate on doing a good job and gathering as much information as possible about this new car, but this series is going to have a big impact and it's where I want to be in 2010."
Status will also test Daniel Morad. The driver from Lebanon, who was born in Canada, has not raced in competition since the end of the 2008-2009 A1 GP championship, when he raced for Team Lebanon.
