Memo Rojas and Scott Pruett are still on top of the standings right before the Rolex Grand Am Series goes to Daytona, tomorrow, for the 9th race of this 2008 season.
With 250 points, Rojas and Pruett are comfortably in lead of the championship, followed by Alex Gurney and Jon Fogarty that cumulate only 188 points.
During the Brumos Porsche 250, Fogarty and Burney will try to do better than Rojas and Pruett, but also better than their closest followers of last race, in Mid-Ohio, Donohue and Law.
The two teams respectively finished first and second on the 21st of June, when championship leaders didn't do better than 8th.
All drivers will be facing a "freeky Thursday" tomorrow since practice, qualifying and race will happen during the very same day.
Race will be on SPEED.TV at 8 pm and is schedule to last a maximum of 2:45 hours for 250 miles.
