APR Motorsport announced their driver line-up ahead of their debut season with the Audi R8 in Grand-Am. Turner Motorsport also shared driver news concerning the 2012 season.

It was made official that Dion von Moltke and Dr. Jim Norman would be behind the wheel of the Audi, For von Motlke, professional racer since 2008 and also a student at Florida International University, it was a home-coming.

"This is a dream come true," von Moltke said. "I started my professional racing career with APR, and to have the opportunity to come back to such a first class winning organization, and then to be the first one racing the Audi R8 GRAND-AM - can it get any better than this? This is like going home […]."

As for Norman, a professional surgeon, the prospect of racing the R8 is no less thrilling, even though his background in racing includes planes.

"I'm very excited about joining the winning APR Motorsport team for the upcoming Rolex Series season," Norman said.

On their end, BMW announced factory drivers Dirk Müller, Jörg Müller and Drik Werner will join Turner Motorsport's line-up, which includes former Canadian Touring Car Championip driver Paul Dalla Lana, in their effort to win the GT class at the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Two Prep 2 BMW M3s will await the drivers on January 28th, for the start of the 50th edition of the classic.
