Robin Liddell and fellow Grand-Am driver Richard Westbrook will run the London Marathon on April 17 to raise funds for cystic fibrosis.

At a time where a lot of teams and drivers are raising funds for Japan, many also remain very active with their own charities and causes.

Liddell will be joining members of the British Racing Drivers Club for this special occasion to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a charity funding global research into finding a cure for this debilitating illness affecting babies and younger poeple.

"They're still looking into a cure for this illness, and we're trying to do anything we can do to help raise funds for that," Liddell said. "Any sponsorship money will be really appreciated - and remember, one pound is about $1.60."

The driver of the No. 57 Stevenson Motorsports Camaro will be in Barber next week for the third event of this 2011 season.
