Former Formula 1 driver, Frenchman Sebastien Bourdais looks set to contest the 24 Hours of Daytona 24h in February, driving a Riley BMW Daytona Prototype for team Level Five.
According to French magazine Auto Hebdo, Bourdais will race alongside teammates Christophe Bouchut (who will compete in the entire Grand-Am series this season), Emmanuel Collard and Sascha Maassen.
Team Level Five will take part to Grand-Am championship and the ALMS series with a Formula Le Mans car, a new class in the American championship in 2010. Chris Tucker, the team boss, will be Bouchut’s teammate during the season.
Bourdais, a former Toro Rosso driver in Formula 1, concluded the 2009 season in the Formula Superleague series. He also took part in the 24 Heures du Mans in a Peugeot 908. The Frenchman is likely to be back with Peugeot at Le Mans next June.
