It was another black Sunday yesterday as a fourth driver was killed in the past five weeks.

Twenty-two-year old Argentinean Guido Falaschi was tragically killed in the race accident during a round of the Turismo Carretera -- a National GT series -- at Autodrome Balcarce in Argentina.

According to the reports, the car of Falaschi went off the race track, hit the guardrails and bounced back in the center of the track where it was hit at high speed.

The race was immediately red flagged and the medical crew came on site. The doctors realised that there was little that could be done. Falaschi was transported by helicopter to the hospital where he was officially declared dead.

The Argentinean is the fourth driver to lose his life in motorsport activities in just five weeks.

It started with Dan Wheldon at the Las Vegas IndyCar, MotoGP rider Marco Simoncelli at Sepang and Jim McNeil, a motorcycle rider in the FMX series and five-time X Games competitor, who died from injuries suffered while practising prior to the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
