GT1 World: Lamborghini takes victory in Navarra

Ricardo Zonta and Frank Kechele drove their Lamborghini Murcielago to victory in Navarra this past weekend.

Zonta and Kechele already won the qualifying race held earlier during the weekend, and confirmed their domination in Spain by winning championship race on Sunday afternoon.

Makowiecki and Clairay’s Aston Martin DBR9 took second position, after a stunning drive through the field from Makowiecki who moved up from 9th to second after only two laps.

Hugues and Campbell Walter took third with their Nissan-GT.

Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini (Maserati MC12) finished sixth overall and still lead provisional point standings before the two last rounds in Interlagos and San Luis, Argentina.
