The owner of Hesco Bastion Ltd, Jimi Heselden, died yesterday in an accident seemingly implicating a Segway, the one-person electric vehicle manufactured by his conglomerate.
The 62-year-old British millionnaire evidently drove off a cliff rising above the river Wharfe. The body was reportedly found there, near his home in West Yorkshire, England. A Segway was found nearby.
The Segway was developped by American inventor Dean Kamen, who founded the company of the same name in 1999. Mr Heselden acquired the company in 2009.
