Civic Type-R
A Type-R is ultimate incarnation of any Honda product. The new Civic Type-R starts with an i-VTEC 201 hp 2.0L 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine gladly revs to 8,000 rpm. Peak torque is rated at 142 lb/ft at 5,600 rpm. 100 km/h comes up in 6.6 seconds and top speed is set at 235 km/h. This 2-door hatchback is not only a hard-edged track car, it is still civilised enough to be driven on a daily basis. The cabin sports alcantara sport seats, cross-drilled aluminium pedals and a meaty sport steering wheel. No word yet as to whether or not North America will get its hands on a Civic Type-R.

Honda Small Hybrid Sports Concept represents a future hybrid product that could eventually be launched by Honda. The Concept combines advanced hybrid technology with and spirited driving for a great driving experience. Designed by Honda R&D Europe located in Offenbach, Germany, the Small Hybrid Sports Concept looks to being green with little or no compromises.
