Top prices were also paid for several impressive cars : a 1949 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sport Cabriolet (C$260,000), a 1938 Lagonda V12 Drophead Coupé (C$258,000) and a 1959 Aston Martin DB4 Series 1 Sports Saloon (C$201,000), the 26th ever produced, to mention a few.
The automobilia sale also saw a lot of action around children’s cars. A child’s Jaguar D-Type sold for C$27,000 against an estimate of C$14,000 – 17,000, while a Mercedes-Benz W125 children’s car smashed its pre-sale estimate of C$4,000 - 7,000, reaching a remarkable C$31,800.
