This year at the Canadian International Auto Show there is an Olympic-themed outdoor attraction called the GM Winter Park. General Motors of Canada has created this outdoor exhibit to celebrate the spirit of the Winter Games. GM's Winter Park includes super-sized ice carvings of various winter sports including skiing, luge, bobsled, hockey, curling and figure skating.

Alpine Canada President Ken Read was on hand to open the exhibit and I had a chance to talk to him about skiing and our Olympic team over in Turin just before the unveiling of the ice sculptures. Ken tried his hand at

ice sculpting before handing off the chainsaw to the experts. The highlight of the event for car enthusiast's is no doubt the world's first Camaro "Ice" Concept-billed as the 'coolest' concept design of the show. There was also an ice sculpture of the camaro which is setup so you can get your picture taken while sitting in the drivers seat.

"Since so many people have described the Camaro concept as cool, we decided to take their compliments literally and ensure it's the coolest car in the show," said Fred Lautenschlager, Promotions & Sponsorships Manager, General Motors of Canada. "The Camaro Ice concept is so hot people are willing to brave the cold just to have a look."
