BILLY DEE WILLIAMS LANDS AT PLANET HOLLYWOOD FOR OLDSMOBILE FUNDRAISER

More than 2,000 fans showed up to meet film icon Billy Dee Williams in New York's Times Square this week when the legendary actor starred in Oldsmobile's ambitious, month-long promotionto raise funds for historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Williams was delivered to New York's Planet Hollywood in five Oldsmobile Bravadas, which are the primary transportation for the company's "Celebrity Convoy" fundraising campaign. He thenconducted a meet and greet with excited fans of all ages, while encouraging donations to the Tom Joyner Foundation supporting students attending HBCUs. The Foundation has distributedmore than $9 million to qualified students.
