Porsche to Update Cayenne for 2006
Porsche purists despise it, environmentalists want it gone, but Porsche couldn't be happier with the sales performance of its Cayenne sport utility vehicle, which has brought the legendary sports car maker success and more importantly, cash flow. The world's most recognizable "high performance" sport utility vehicle has kept the competition at bay with the additions of more power for 2005 and other attractive options, but a new generation of more powerful luxury SUVs from rival automakers is about to emerge. In response, Porsche is currently tweaking the Cayenne to keep it head and shoulders above the rest.
