This could be great news for motorsports fans who come each year to the Grand Prix of Trois Rivières, Quebec for the exciting street race. Organisers of the event are reportedly about to confirm that the Firestone Indy Lights series will be back in 2011.

Although the 2011 definite schedule will not be made public until the beginning of December, it has already been confirmed that both NASCAR Canadian Tire series and Star Mazda series will be back once more.

Reports now abound that a three-year deal has been signed between GP3R and the IndyCar development series’ directors. This would bring back the Indy Lights series in the streets of Trois-Rivières for the first time in more than ten years.
