Jack Hawksworth started from pole position, led every laps and crossed the finish line without any treat winning his third Indy Lights race of 2013, this time around the streets of Baltimore.

Sage Karam made a great start from fourth, and while he managed a good run on Hawksworth on the first restart, he spent the first part of the second leg fending off Gabby Chaves in a Schmidt 1-2-3. Second has given Karam the points lead.

Chaves was well clear of Irishman Peter Dempsey, but it was a poor race for title hopeful Carlos Munoz. The Andretti Autosport driver crashed into the wall. A braking issue was suspected to have caused the accident.
