Josef Newgarden captured pole position for the Firestone Indy Lights race to be held Sunday at the one-mile New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Newgarden set two nearly identical laps in qualifying to capture the pole with an average speed of 149.119 mph.
Bryan Clauson will start second alongside him with a speed of 147.874 mph.
The winner of the Trois-Rivieres race last weekend, Esteban Guerrieri, will start third ahead of Anders Krohn, Jorge Gonzales and Duarte Ferreira.
Stefan Wilson will start 12th and last.
