Conquest Racing and driver Alex Tagliani (photo) along with the Fondation du Sport Motorisé du Québec (Quebec Motor Sports Foundation) are teaming up to give a young promising driver the experience of a lifetime this week.

Jeffrey Petriello is a former kart and Formula BMW racer. In nine races of the Formula BMW Americas championship last year, he finished six times on the podium. He also received the 2007 scholarship of this series. He also owns six karting titles and collected four victories in four races in the Florida Winter Tour a few months.

The 20-years-old has been rewarded for his past race results, his communication skills, his competitive spirit and his sportsmanship. Alex Tagliani spent the entire day on Thursday with him and taught him all he knows about driving and adjusting the Formula Atlantic and Star Mazda cars. Petriello was driving on the Putnam Park track, not far from Indianapolis.

After this unique experience, Petriello will have the privilege to follow Tagliani during his first Indy 500 week-nd. He will be acting as a VIP for Conquest Racing. He has even been invited to the 2009 Indy 500 Victory Banquet on Monday night!

The Indy 500 will take place Sunday, in Indianapolis' mythic Motor Speedway.
