It was a day filled with excitement for the whole Sarah Fisher Racing team following its first ever win at the Kentucky Speedway but it was also a time of uncertainty as they are losing their long-time sponsor.

The team still has to figure how it will manage to put on a program for 2012 after learning a few weeks ago that they will lose their main sponsor, Dollar General.

In 2011, as it had been the case in the past, SFR has contested a partial programme, focused mainly on ovals, with Carpenter and will run Tomas Scheckter in a second car at Las Vegas.

Fisher said the aim was to retain Carpenter for a similar schedule in 2012, but that she could not be certain what the team would manage yet.

"Certainly where we are going to be is trying to at least put an oval programme together again and having Ed in the seat to do it all over again."
