2010 Firestone Indy Lights champion, JK Vernay, will try his hand at a Dallara Honda as he is set to test with Conquest Racing at Sebring International Raceway January 31st.
The Frenchman won the title in his first season with a total of eight podium finishes, including five victories. He totalled 10 top-five finishes in 13 races and led a field-high 172 laps.
Before joining Firestone Indy Lights with Sam Schmidt Motorsports, Vernay competed in Formula 3 Euro from 2007-09.
Meanwhile, Conquest owner Eric Bachelart is still working with veteran Paul Tracy to try and find sponsorship for the Canadian to join his team in 2011. So far, no confirmation is scheduled.
Speaking of coming tests, Dale Coyne Racing also is scheduled to test Jan. 31 at Sebring with driver(s) to be announced.
