Four-time ChampCar series’ champion Sebastien Bourdais will be back for a second set of five rounds in the IndyCar Series starting in Toronto at the wheel of Dale Coyne Racing’s No. 19 Boy Scouts of America Dallara-Honda.
Bourdais is expected to do well on the 1.755-mile, 11-turn Exhibition Place circuit on which he has started from the pole three times – most recently 2007 – and won the race in 2004 on the way to the Champ Car title with Newman/Haas Racing.
The Frenchman, who competed in the IZOD IndyCar Series early-season round of road/street course races for Dale Coyne Racing is back in North America after recently competing in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup and the 24 Hours of Le Mans for Peugeot Sport since May 7.
