In order to further assess the development of the Dallara DW12 for ovals, the IndyCar Series will run a test in Texas this coming Monday using its oval-spec aerodynamic package.
Eleven cars are expected to be part of the test in which the priority will be to verify that that the updates that had been previously tested last February have worked as expected.
Will be present, besides Ryan Briscoe who took part at the February test are AJ Foyt Racing's Mike Conway and Wade Cunningham, owner-driver Ed Carpenter, Ganassi's Scott Dixon, Dario Franchitti, Graham Rahal and Charlie Kimball, and Penske's Will Power, Helio Castroneves.
KV Racing's Rubens Barrichello will also take part; the Brazilian having been scheduled to start his running one day earlier in order to take his mandatory pre-Indy oval test.
