Veteran journalist Robin Miller, who is very well informed in the IndyCar circles, said on Wednesday that team Newman-Haas-Lanigan is about to sign two surprise drivers.
According to sources, Brian Lisles, the team manager at NHL, called the Indy Racing League office on Tuesday afternoon to reveal that Graham Rahal will have two teammates for the upcoming season. Lisles, a former engineer with Tyrrell F1, pinpointed that the contracts have not been signed yet but an official announcement should be made by the end of the week.
Miller is saying that the two new drivers will be Robert Doornbos and Milka Duno.
Newman-Haas-Lanigan has never gone with a rider buyer but, in these challenging economic times, that's about to change.
