Conquest Racing team has confirmed today that Canadian driver Alex Tagliani will be driving the No 34 Dallara-Honda in the next presentation of the Indianapolis 500 and although "Tag" is a seasoned driver, it will be his first ever experience on the famous oval.
Tagliani had two top 10 finishes in the first two events of the season but the team elected not to be at the Kansas race in order to better prepare for what is coming up during the month of May.
The Las Vegas resident will now be allowed to participate in the Rookie Orientation Day that will take place on Tuesday May the 5th before being joined by all the regular drivers and all the others hired to drive solely for the May classic.
