Éric Bachelart's Conquest Racing has signed young Brazilian driver Mario Romancini as a full-time entrant for the IZOD IndyCar Series in 2010.

The 22-year-old Brazilian rookie will be graduating from the Firestone Indy Lights series where he drove for the RLR/Andersen Racing team.

The rookie gained attention from the paddock last season when he claimed four podiums, one pole, and victories at the Milwaukee Mile and Homestead tracks.

Romancini’s maiden experience at the wheel of the #34 Dallara-Honda will take place this week at the Barber open test in Alabama with his IZOD Indy Car Series debut on March 14, 2010 at the season opener in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
