IndyCar driver Helio Castroneves is in the process of evaluating what are his options as his contract with Team Penske is due to expire at the end of the present season but he admits that a switch to NASCAR is a real possibility.
The Brazilian plan to talk with boss Roger Penske about his NASCAR options once the Indianapolis 500 race is behind him.
"It depends on the opportunity. It's all about the timing and I'm not sure if the timing is right," said Castroneves to the Los Angeles Times.
Penske currently fields Sprint Cup cars for Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman and Sam Hornish Jr and under NASCAR rules; Penske would be able to add one more team to his racing stable.
