KV Racing Technology's Oriol Servia was the fastest of the former Champ Car drivers that were present on the second day of the IRL test that is taking place at the Miami-Homestead 1.5-mile oval in Florida.

Oriol Servia's speed proved that his team was not too far off from the regular IRL teams, although Roth Racing, who topped yesterday's practice, should not be considered a force to be reckoned with.

Conquest Racing driver Enrique Bernoldi finished fourth just ahead of KV's other racer, Will Power. Graham Rahal and Justin Wilson, both with Newman-Haas-Lanigan Racing ranked 6th and 7th fastest.

"The car felt really good," said Rahal. "I caught Oriol and overtook him in Turn 1 and was almost past him. I was on a higher line than I had been taking and that was a lot bumpier with a little less grip up there."

Let's not forget that for most Champ Car drivers, this was their first experience on an oval aboard a very fast car.
