A lot has been said in the last months concerning the proposed 2011 IZOD IndyCar schedule. It looks like the series will visit new venues as well as making a comeback to some others.
The IRL officials are expected to unveil its 2011 calendar this Friday but since they already have made some official announcements during the past weeks, it would be safe to assume that our potential schedule could look as follow:

There will be a total of 18 races on 17 different tracks, which includes nine ovals and nine street-road courses.
The Las Vegas round has not been signed yet, pending it finds a title sponsor but rumours has it that if the season’s finale could not be held there. California Speedway in Fontana could become the track where the final race would be held.
