As the Premiere Official Sponsor for the IndyCar Series, DIRECTV will be recognized in the new series logo. The American satellite television provider will broadcast the IRL races in HD.
In addition to its league sponsorship, DIRECTV has also become an IndyCar Series team sponsor. Team Vision Racing - owned by Tony George amongst others - will prominently fly the DIRECTV logo throughout the 2008 season.
