Marco Andretti will be back with the Andretti Green Racing squad in 2009, re-joining his old teammates Tony Kanaan, Danica Patrick and Hideki Mutoh as AGR confirmed that they have completed their four-car IndyCar Series line-up for next season.
The young American didn't have a great season in 2008, finishing a distant seventh in the standings and having struggled quite a bit on road circuits. Andretti is spending the winter racing A1GP for Team USA to give him more experience on those types of tracks.
Although Andretti had some good moments since joining the IRL, his overall performance was well below what was expected from him and his fourth year in the series could be for him a make it or brake it season.
