Milka Duno will be back on track almost immediately as she will be replacing Darren Manning in the No 23 car at Kansas Speedway this weekend for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing.
Of course, long time Duno's personal sponsor CITGO is returning as a primary sponsor of DDR Dallara-Honda but it is believed that the Venezuelan driver signed for a partial schedule that would include the Indy 500 and some other oval races.
According to the team, Duno will partner rookie Mike Conway - who will continue to pilot the No 24 Dad's Root Beer-backed machine.
In the past, her relative lack of pace has attracted criticism from her rivals, however, not least during a very public pit-lane spat with Danica Patrick at Mid-Ohio last year.
